We keep this simple. Here's exactly what data the CEN portal collects, how it's used, and how you can remove it.

1. What We Collect

When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord ID, username, email address, and avatar. If you choose to link a Steam or Battle.net account, we store the associated SteamID64 or BattleTag. We periodically fetch publicly available gameplay statistics from those platforms to display your rank and competitive history.

2. How We Use It

Your data is used solely to power the CEN portal — verifying competitive eligibility, displaying stats, and connecting you with CEN events. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Your Discord contact details and email are never displayed publicly.

3. What Others Can See

Other registered CEN members may see your in-game rank and competitive history where it is relevant to leaderboards or event eligibility. Your Discord username may be visible in event contexts. Your email is never shown to other users.

4. Deleting Your Data

You own your data. Using the "Unlink" button in your account settings immediately removes all associated game statistics from our database. To delete your account entirely, contact us at managers@collegiateesportsnetwork.org and we will remove all records associated with you.

5. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

6. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with this site — pages visited, time on site, and general traffic patterns. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data and may set its own cookies. This data is aggregated and is not linked to your CEN account or personal identity. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
